What is Just Kickin It? What does it mean? This is what it means to me
When I was growing up we had a neighbor family next door with two small boys. From the very start our two families were close and their home became like an extension of ours. Their mother provided childcare for several children over the years including her own and to my surprise none of them could say my name, Caitlin. The closest they could get was Kickin. At first it sounded like "Cake-in" but as they would say it hurriedly during play it would become Kickin. The nickname has followed me throughout my life and would be difficult to ever bade farewell should I decide it is no longer fitting.
At this stage in my life I find that it suits me well. Having just entered my 30's and married with 2 small children, I savor any moment to just kick it so to speak. Just Kickin It describes what I love to do. It encompasses spending time with my family, participating in numerous fun activities, learning and growing through life experiences and a multitude of other things that interest me. It is who I am. These are the happenings of my life that make me who I am.
